What does a Commercial Manager do?

As a Commercial Manager, you will hold a central position in the project's management team. You drive the business-related issues, ensure the project's financial development, and work closely with both the project director and the client. This is a role for you who want to make a real impact.

Your mission

In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine strategic responsibility with operational presence. You will, among other things:

• Lead the project's financial management with budgets, forecasts, and analyses
• Drive contract issues and manage risks in dialogue with clients and suppliers
• Be responsible for the purchasing and calculation functions, focusing on business acumen and quality
• Ensure that contractual requirements, documentation, and meetings are of a high standard
• Lead and develop competent employees in your area

Who are you?

You thrive in complex environments, take ownership naturally, and are passionate about business. You are analytical, structured, and confident in making decisions that drive the project forward and build long-term relationships.

We believe you have:

• Broad experience in commercial management in larger construction projects
• Strong competence in calculations, finance, risk, and purchasing
• Experience and knowledge of construction law, negotiation, and contract law
• Understanding of construction production and all parts of the construction process
• Experience in leading and developing employees
• Other tasks and responsibilities may occur
• Relevant further education in construction
• Travel may be required, a valid driver's license is necessary

The role also includes working in other locations and projects as needed.
